Ingredients

4 (6 oz) Wagyu beef steaks

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons white miso paste

2 tablespoons white wine

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

Parsley, for garnish

Directions

1
Season the Wagyu beef steaks with salt and pepper. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat until foaming, about 1-2 minutes. Sear the beef for 2-3 minutes per side, or until browned. Transfer the beef to a plate and set aside.

2
In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Add the white miso paste and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until fragrant.

3
Add the white wine, soy sauce, and rice vinegar to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet with a wooden spoon.

4
Return the Wagyu beef to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce has reduced slightly and the beef is coated.

5
Transfer the beef to a plate and spoon the sauce over the top. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Storage & Reheating

Once cooked, let the dish cool completely and refrigerate or freeze for later. Reheat in the oven or on the stovetop, adding a bit of oil to prevent drying and enhance the flavors.
