Why This Recipe Works

Key Ingredients

For the best results, make sure to use high-quality ingredients. When it comes to the chicken, look for boneless, skinless breasts that are at least 1 pound each. For the bacon, choose a thick-cut variety that’s smoked to perfection. And don’t even get me started on the ranch seasoning – make sure to use a high-end brand that’s packed with real herbs and spices.

When it comes to the cheese filling, be sure to use a combination of shredded cheddar and mozzarella. The cheddar will add a rich, tangy flavor, while the mozzarella will provide a creamy texture. And don’t forget to use some high-quality ranch seasoning to give the filling a boost of flavor.

Ingredients

2 cups flour

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup ranch seasoning

4 large flour tortillas

1/2 cup softened butter

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup chopped fresh chives

1 tablespoon honey

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

1
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and ranch seasoning. Add the softened butter and mix until the dough comes together in a ball.

2
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to a thickness of about 1/4 inch. Cut out circles of dough using a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass.

3
In a small bowl, mix together the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese until well combined. Add the chopped fresh chives and mix until the cheese mixture is smooth.

4
Place a tablespoon of the cheese mixture in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough over the cheese to form a triangle, pressing the edges together to seal.

5
Brush the tops of the pinwheels with a little bit of water and bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.

Storage & Reheating

To store any leftover pinwheels, allow them to cool completely before transferring them to an airtight container or zip-top bag. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. When reheating, simply bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 5-7 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown.
