Key Ingredients

For the best results, choose a high-quality peanut butter that is smooth and creamy. Skippy or Jif are great options. If you’re using a different type of nut butter, adjust the amount of confectioners’ sugar to your taste. For the chocolate chips, use a combination of milk and dark chocolate for the best flavor. And if you want to add some crunch, sprinkle some chopped peanuts on top before refrigerating.

When selecting the oats, choose rolled oats or quick oats for the best texture. These types of oats will give the no-bake a great chewiness without being too crunchy. And, don’t forget to use a good-quality vanilla extract to enhance the flavor of the treat.
