Yield:
4 Servings

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons salt

1/4 cup warm water

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 teaspoon paprika

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

8 slices of bacon, cooked

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, grated

Directions

1
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and warm water. Stir until the dough comes together, then knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

2
In a separate bowl, mix together the chicken, cream cheese, paprika, cayenne pepper, and shredded cheddar cheese. Set aside.

3
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1/8 inch. Cut out 4 equal-sized squares, and place a tablespoon of the chicken mixture in the center of each square.

4
Place a cooked bacon slice on top of the chicken mixture, followed by another tablespoon of the mixture. Fold the dough over to form a triangle, pressing the edges to seal.

5
Place the pinwheels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving about 1 inch of space between each pinwheel. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.

Storage & Reheating

To store leftover pinwheels, let them cool completely before wrapping each one individually in plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (180°C) for 10-15 minutes, or until warmed through.
