    Why This Recipe Works
    • Fajitas are a blank canvas, allowing you to customize the flavor and heat level to your liking with a variety of toppings and fillings.
    • Cooking the chicken and vegetables in a large skillet allows for easy prep and cleanup, and lets the flavors meld together.
    • The combination of spices and cumin gives the dish a bold, zesty flavor that complements the chicken and peppers perfectly.

    Key Ingredients

When it comes to making fajitas, the quality of your ingredients is key. Look for boneless, skinless chicken breast that’s at least 90% lean, and choose colorful bell peppers for added flavor and texture. For the spices, cumin and chili powder are essential to giving the dish its Mexican-inspired flavor. And don’t skimp on the olive oil – a high-quality oil is essential for cooking up the crispy, caramelized vegetables that make fajitas so irresistible.

For the best flavor, be sure to choose fresh, high-quality ingredients. Fresh cilantro is essential for adding a burst of fresh flavor, and look for a mild chili powder that won’t overpower the dish.
