Key Ingredients

When it comes to ingredients, quality matters. For this recipe, we recommend using a high-quality cheese that melts well, such as sharp cheddar or a blend of cheddar and Parmesan. Additionally, look for a brand of frozen hashbrowns that’s made with whole potatoes and minimal additives. Finally, crumbled bacon is a must – don’t be shy with the amount!

As for the eggs, make sure to use fresh, high-quality eggs that are rich in flavor and texture. These will help bind the ingredients together and create a tender, fluffy texture. And don’t forget to season with salt and pepper to taste – this will help bring out the natural flavors of the ingredients.

1/4 cup milk

1/2 cup crispy bacon, crumbled

4 large eggs

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Set aside.

In a large skillet, cook the diced onion over medium heat until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute, until fragrant.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined. Set aside.

In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, arrange half of the hashbrowns in the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle with half of the shredded cheese, followed by half of the cooked onion and garlic mixture.

5
Pour the whisked eggs over the top of the dish, followed by the remaining hashbrowns, cheese, onion, and garlic. Sprinkle with the crumbled bacon and season with salt and pepper to taste. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
