Key Ingredients

For this recipe, we’ll be using a combination of cremini and shiitake mushrooms. The cremini add a delicate flavor and tender texture, while the shiitake add a rich, earthy depth. When it comes to garlic, it’s all about the quality. Choose a few high-quality cloves that are firm and free of wrinkles. As for fresh thyme, use as much or as little as you like – it’s all about balance.

One final ingredient to note is the olive oil. While it may seem simple, good-quality olive oil makes all the difference in the world when it comes to cooking. Look for a mild, fruity oil that complements the flavors of the mushrooms and garlic.
