Ingredients
Scale
1 pound unsalted butter (room temperature)
3 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs (room temperature)
2 large yolks
1 ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
3 ½ cups cake flour (sifted)
1 cup heavy whipping cream (room temperature)
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Heat the oven to 300°F and grease a 12-cup Bundt pan thoroughly.
Beat room-temperature butter and sugar until pale and fluffy. Add eggs and yolks one at a time.
On low speed, add half the cake flour and salt, then the cream and vanilla, then the remaining flour, mixing only until combined.
Transfer to the pan and bake about 1 hour 20–40 minutes, until a skewer shows no wet batter. Cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then turn out to finish cooling.
