CROCKPOT KIELBASA GREEN BEANS – Simple & Delicious

Ingredients

1 pound Kielbasa Sausage
1 pound fresh or frozen green beans
1 medium onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Slice the kielbasa into 1-inch pieces. If your green beans are frozen, run them under cold water to thaw, pat them dry with a paper towel, and then cut in half or in 1-inch pieces.

Place the sliced onion at the bottom of the crockpot, followed by the browned kielbasa, garlic, green beans, chicken broth, olive oil, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently to combine.

Cover the crockpot with the lid and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours or until the green beans are tender.

When the green beans are tender, remove the kielbasa from the crockpot and serve the sliced sausage on a bed of steamed green beans. Enjoy.
