Ingredients
  

  • 1 package Little Smokies (cocktail sausages)
  • 1 lb Bacon (standard cut)
  • 1 cup Brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Cut bacon into thirds.
  • Wrap each sausage in a piece of bacon. Secure with toothpick.
  • Roll in brown sugar (mixed with cayenne if using). Place on rack.
  • Bake 25-30 mins until crispy.

Notes

Use regular cut bacon, not thick cut. A wire rack helps the bacon crisp evenly.
